GUARNER GARRETA VIOLA ARCHITECTURE SLP. is an architectural firm based in Barcelona that was created in 2016 as an evolution of more than ten years of understanding and collaboration of Victoriano Guarner, Lourdes Garreta and Meritxell Viola in the study VIGUM PROJECT SLP (1999-2015).
GUARNER GARRETA VIOLA ARCHITECTURE SLP. focuses its professional activity in the field of architecture in its broadest sense, offering a wide variety of services in the tasks of architecture and urban planning, working both nationally and internationally.
The diversity of projects ranges from social housing buildings, industrial and corporate office buildings, retirement homes, tourist resorts and hotels, to urban spaces, parks and urban planning.
This website is a compilation of the most representative projects carried out over all these years of working together.

FOUNDING PARTNERS
VICTORIANO GUARNER I MUÑOZ is an architect born in Barcelona (1954). He graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (UPC) in 1978 and he is member of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC). He worked for the government (1982-1998), occupying a range of positions in the Catalan Land Institute (INCASÒL).
He was spokesperson of the Board of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia for Barcelona (1992-2002).
He has taught and presented at many courses and conferences, and has published and appeared in a range of publications and media, especially related to the field of urban planning.
In 1999 he founded the VIGUM PROJECT SLP architecture company and his hard work as its director and manager was recognised through several awards for architecture and urban planning.
LOURDES GARRETA I BAHIMA is an architect born in Barcelona (1981). She graduated from the Vallès School of Architecture (UPC) in 2006 and she is a member of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia. She extended her education by studying at the Università degli Studi in Firenze in 2005.
She has been involved in professional collaborations with several architectural offices and linked organizations, especially those involving renovation projects.
She has collaborated with VIGUM PROJECT SLP studio since 2005, as team coordinator, by performing tasks such as drafting projects, site management and competitions, among other jobs.
MERITXELL VIOLA I GONZÁLEZ is an architect born in Barcelona (1975). She graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (UPC) in 2000 and she is a member of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia. She extended her education by obtaining a master’s degree in structures at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and acquiring practical experience as site manager in residential buildings.
Since then, she has created her own projects and has collaborated with other professionals, the highlights of which are her interior design projects.
She has collaborated with VIGUM PROJECT SLP studio since 2000, as team coordinator, by performing tasks such as drafting projects, site management and competitions, among other jobs.
